I stumbled across this site and it looks like a great way for aspiring artists to get their music out to the public so as to get noticed. Also, the services look really good if you are needing a good way to share any audio file with the public, like lectures, recording books to share with your kids while you are on the road, etc. Here is a short video describing this service.
